Light.
Light is playful. Light lingers. Light is warm, and sometimes cool. Light can be bent into q spectrum of color. Light travels. Light has speed. Light can be blindingly bright. Light pierces darkness. Light can be seen from millions of miles away. Sunlight. Moonlight. Starlight.
Light fascinates me -- in so many ways. I continually challenge myself with mastering light when I paint. The way the light bends to create the colors we see is mesmerizing. I am captivated by the colorful glow of light hitting stray strands of straw. When I look, I am always surprised by the colors I see in the shadows. Light makes for a very colorful world.
"In the right light, at the right time, everything is extraordinary."
